I Am Very Happy We Lost The AFCON Cup, Because APC Who Haven't Shown Leadership Will Say It Came Cause Of Them Ugezu J Ugezu
Nollywood actor and movie director,
Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu, better known as
Ugezu J Ugezu, has voiced his concerns
regarding what would have been the
potential reaction of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) leadership if the Nigerian
Super Eagles were to win the African Cup of
Nations (AFCON)
Ugezu J Ugezu made this statement on his
verified Instagram page. According to him,
he said "If Nigeria lifted that cup, APC who
haven't shown leadership will say it came
cause of them"
Ugezu alleged that in the event of a Nigerian victory in the (AFCON) tournament, (APC) leaders would likely attribute the success to their party, despite what he perceives as a lack of effectivel eadership from the (APC) thus far.
He said "+APC) merchants who have nots hown any leadership so far would have said it came because of (APC)" Ugezu wrote, implying that the party might claim credit for the victory despite not actively contributing to it.
Expressing frustration, Ugezu questioned whether Nigeria, often derogatorily labeled as the "Generator Nation" by South Africa on the global stage, could confront it's realities.
He urged the (APC) to address the nation's pressing issues head-on rather than seeking credit for potential successes.
In his statement, Ugezu implored the (APC) to acknowledge the challenges facing the nation and take proactive steps towards addressing them. He highlighted the need for realistic assessments of Nigeria's socio-economic and political matters, emphasizing the importance of confronting issues rather than evading them.
"We have lost, can we now face ourp roblems?" Ugezu rhetorically questioned, drawing attention to the urgency of addressing Nigeria's underlying issues.
