Nollywood actor and movie director, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu, better known as Ugezu J Ugezu, has voiced his concerns regarding what would have been the potential reaction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership if the Nigerian Super Eagles were to win the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Ugezu J Ugezu made this statement on his verified Instagram page. According to him, he said "If Nigeria lifted that cup, APC who haven't shown leadership will say it came cause of them" Ugezu alleged that in the event of a  Nigerian victory in the (AFCON) tournament, (APC) leaders would likely attribute the success to their party, despite what he perceives as a lack of effectivel eadership from the (APC) thus far.
